Jenne, Inc. Selected by Extreme Networks to Expand North American Distributorship for Full Line of High Performance Networking Solutions

Jenne, Inc. today announced that it has expanded its strategic relationship with Extreme Networks as a leading distributor in North America following an extensive Request for Information (RFI) process. The RFI process was conducted with a number of distributors associated with Extreme Networks as well as those associated with Enterasys Networks, as a result of the acquisition of Enterasys Networks by Extreme Networks in the fall of 2013.

In addition to Extreme Networks’ solutions in Ethernet switching, software and security, which Jenne has distributed since 2008, Jenne is now distributing switches, wireless LAN access points, and wireless appliances formerly under the Enterasys brand. Additionally, Jenne is distributing the recently introduced Purview™, an industry-first, network-powered application analytics and optimization solution that captures network data and aggregates, analyzes, correlates and reports on it to enable better decision making and improved business performance. Purview was operated during Super Bowl XLVIII to deliver the industry’s first comprehensive in-stadium model of mobile application usage.

“Jenne has demonstrated the commitment and business excellence that we greatly value in a value-added distributor and our strategic relationship with them is key to our channel program,” said Theresa Caragol, vice president of global channels for Extreme Networks. “Jenne’s commitment to providing exceptional product delivery, training and support is essential for our complete line of enterprise network solutions.”

“Jenne values its relationship with Extreme Networks, its reseller partners and the associated technology solutions partners in the Extreme ecosystem,” said Vince Piccolomini, vice president of business development. “Jenne has built its reputation as a value-added distributor dedicated to the success of our partners, which includes both the manufacturers for which we distribute their products and the resellers we serve. We look forward to building new relationships with resellers who have done business with Enterasys in the past by offering them outstanding services as well as our commitment to helping them win deals and grow their businesses with the new Extreme Networks.”

Jenne has been recognized by Extreme Networks for the past three years in a row with awards, including:

  • Top Distributor Growth Award 2013
  • North American Distributor of the Year Award 2012
  • Top Distributor Growth Award 2011
