Netronome Demonstrates SDN and NFV Reference Designs at TM Forum Live 2014

Netronome, the leading provider of data plane processing solutions for software-defined networks (SDN), today announced that they will be showcasing production-ready reference designs for software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) at the TM Forum Live 2014 event, held June 2-5 at the Acropolis Convention Center, Nice, France.

Netronome, with partners Service Mesh and PlumGrid, will be demonstrating the use of a cloud orchestrator with OpenStack integration to provision a virtualized network topology while monitoring and enforcing SLAs via SDN-OpenFlow, across legacy MPLS WAN. This live demonstration highlights the ability to prioritize a video service using SDN, while also securing the service by hosting virtualized networking functions (VNF). Netronome’s flow processors and SDN software are combined with a standard x86-based server to create a high-performance platform that serves as an SDN gateway connecting a multi-tenant, cloud data center to a carrier IP/MPLS transport network.
