F5 Achieves Cisco Compatibility Certification with the Cisco Solution Partner Program

CISCO LIVE F5 Networks (NASDAQ:FFIV) today announced that its Traffix Signaling Delivery Controller (SDC) has successfully achieved Cisco compatibility certification with Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) Manager. The Internet of Everything (IoE) continues to bring together people, processes, data, and things to enhance the relevancy of network connections. As a member of the Cisco® Solution Partner Program, F5 is able to quickly create and deploy solutions to enhance the capabilities, performance, and management of the network to capture value in the IoE.

The F5 Traffix Signaling Delivery Controller (SDC) offers intelligent context-aware Diameter routing, load balancing, and interworking on one platform for the cost-effective and rapid rollout of LTE networks and services. It manages Diameter signaling messages that enable data use in LTE and 3G networks to ensure consistent network reliability and performance with maximum scale. Operators deploying the SDC also benefit from advanced monitoring, visualization, and troubleshooting capabilities that improve failover management and overload control, protecting networks from signaling surges (which tend to lead to service outages). The SDC component-based architecture is optimized for Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) architectures, including the Cisco UCS platform for virtualized systems.
