Jeda Networks Showcases Its Software Defined Storage Network™ (SDSN™) In Key Industry Events

Jeda Networks (www.jedanetworks.com) today announced its participation in two key storage conferences that will further raise awareness of its software defined storage network (SDSN) solution and showcase how it will transform the future of storage networks. Recently, Jeda Networks was named one of the “10 Software Defined Networking Startups to Watch” by CIO Magazine.

  • In September, Jeda Networks CEO Stuart Berman will make an appearance at the Storage Developer Conference to be held in Santa Clara, California. Mr. Berman will be talking about “Software-Defined Network Technology and the Future of Storage.” This breakout session will take place Monday, Sept. 16 at 4:35pm PT.
  • In October, Jeda Networks will be at Storage Networking World Fall (SNW Fall) to be held in Long Beach, California. Jeda CEO Stuart Berman will deliver an “Industry Perspective” presentation on SDN technology for storage networks on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 3:00pm PT. In addition, the company will be demonstrating its technology on the expo floor.

Jeda is the first company to take a pure software approach, applying Software Defined Network (SDN) technology, to address current limitations inherent in today’s storage networks. Its Fabric Network Controller (FNC) applies virtualization and abstraction to solve the complexity, cost and scalability issues inherent in today’s storage networks. It significantly changes the adaptability of current storage networks to readily adjust to the exponential growth of applications that the networks support. The FNC was named a ‘hot product’ at Interop in May.

About Jeda Networks

In today's enterprise, digital transformation represents organizational change even more so than technology change, as customer preferences and behavior drive end-to-end transformation across lines of business as well as IT. To capitalize on the ubiquitous disruption driving this transformation, companies must be able to innovate at an increasingly rapid pace.
In his session at 21st Cloud Expo, James Henry, Co-CEO/CTO of Calgary Scientific Inc., introduced you to the challenges, solutions and benefits of training AI systems to solve visual problems with an emphasis on improving AIs with continuous training in the field. He explored applications in several industries and discussed technologies that allow the deployment of advanced visualization solutions to the cloud.
In his keynote at 19th Cloud Expo, Sheng Liang, co-founder and CEO of Rancher Labs, discussed the technological advances and new business opportunities created by the rapid adoption of containers. With the success of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and various open source technologies used to build private clouds, cloud computing has become an essential component of IT strategy. However, users continue to face challenges in implementing clouds, as older technologies evolve and newer ones like Docker containers gain prominence. He explored these challenges and how to address them, while considering how containers will influence the direction of cloud computing.
